Connect the drive to the motheboard, make sure that both leads are connected, go into the bios and set the bios to default settings, hit F10, save and exit, the machine will restart, go back into the bios and check to make sure its been picked up by the system.

It detects the CPU as an Athlon but says that the model is unknown, It then detects all mbs of ram.
The thing is, make sure you have that power switch connector on the right jumper, and turned the right way positive where it should be. If you’re getting no response from the board at boot, make sure you have the CPU fully seated in its’ slot. Answered on Dec 15, Could a bad PSU also cause this, it is a Watt?
